About Me



My name is Bryan Julius, and I am from Jakarta, Indonesia. I am 22 years old, and I am currently in my senior year of university. I am taking BA 223: Marketing because of a couple reasons, one being that it is a requirement for my degree completion. The other reason to take this course is because I am interested in the basic fundamentals of marketing and how companies use different strategies to be able to place products in the eyes of potential customers. I am a marketing major and I chose to pursue this major because I marketing deals with how customers perceive the products and make decisions on whether to buy them or not. In a sense for me, marketing is related more to the psychology of decision of the customers and that's why I am interested in marketing. Outside of college, playing musical instruments is one of my passion. I've been playing the guitar since I was in 5th grade, and I picked up the piano just during freshmen year. Something else I'm really passionate about outside of school is nature photography. Being in Oregon is actually perfect because of the beautiful hikes and trails.

With the COVID-19 situation happening around us at this moment, there has been a change in demand of the products being bought in the stores. It can be seen in the local supermarkets, where there is a highly increased demand for hygienic products such as tissue paper, paper towels and more. The situation has also impacted the amount of these products offered to customers with one pack of tissue being sold to each family at one time.
