The company I chose to observe the social media presence is Netflix and their recent success on their new movie "Extraction" featuring Chris Hemsworth. Netflix's value proposition is to provide a unique channel to watch films and TV series. Recently, Netflix has come out with a new movie called "Extraction" and it has amassed 90 million viewers within the first month after the release, marking it the biggest premier in Netflix history.  Following the premier of the movie, people have been flooding social media posting comments related to the movie, some praising Netflix for a creating a good plot and some criticizing the violence and casting. I chose to write this blog post about Netflix because of how they market their newly released movies.
